When does GTA 6 come out?+
The current announced date is November 19, 2026. Rockstar has already delayed the game twice, so it is worth re-checking official channels.
Which platforms does GTA 6 launch on?+
PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S at launch. A PC version has not been announced.
How many protagonists are there?+
Two: Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval. Lucia is the first playable female lead in the main Grand Theft Auto series.
Where is GTA 6 set?+
In the fictional state of Leonida, a stand-in for Florida. Vice City sits at its centre, surrounded by swamps, islands, a port city and a national park.
Will there be an online mode?+
Rockstar has confirmed continued support for GTA Online in GTA 5. Details of the GTA 6 online mode have not been announced.
How much will GTA 6 cost?+
The standard edition costs $79.99 and the Ultimate Edition $99.99. Pre-orders are already open on the PlayStation Store, the Microsoft Store, the Rockstar Store and at retailers.
How big is the download?+
Not announced. Based on GTA 5 with its online content, keeping 150–200 GB free is a sensible plan.
